For example, just like when a teacher doesn’t know the answer her student may provide when called on, cold callers do not know what type of response or information the person on the other end of line may provide. However, cold calling can be time consuming due to the sheer amount of people that refuse to answer calls from an unknown number. Furthermore, the person on the other line may not appreciate receiving unsolicited calls, so it may be difficult to keep a person on the line. These were only two brief examples, but cold calling has many benefits and drawbacks.
